Khazaen is the largest economic development zone directly connected to Oman’s capital, Muscat and is strategically located in Barka on the Muscat- Batinah Expressway, in the most densely populated part of the Sultanate.

Khazaen is an integrated logistics and industrial hub supported by designated free zone, dry port, residential areas and commercial components. Khazaen is a project of high national importance working to achieve the Government of Oman’s national development objectives to stimulate economic growth, enhance logistics and industrial development in Oman and . maximize private sector participation in Oman’s development. The city will also create In- Country Value (ICV) for Oman by attracting foreign investments creating opportunities for SME’s and local investors, and maximizing expenditures on Omani goods and services. These will help in creating new jobs and opportunities to recruit, retain and develop local talents.
