Khazaen is the largest economic development zone directly connected to Oman’s capital – Muscat. Oman is strategically located in the south-eastern quarter of the Arabian Peninsula and is the only member of the GCC situated outside of the Straits of Hormuz providing access to international maritime routes and proximity to giant GCC, Asian and African Markets.

Khazaen is a strategically well-positioned multi-modal transportation and logistics hub with access to Muscat Airport (30 minutes drive), Sohar Port (2 hours drive), Suwaiq Port (35 minutes drive), and a direct connection to a planned future railway.
Khazaen will be linked via the proposed railway project in the future. The
railway project is expected to cover 2,135 Km after completion connecting
Oman’s market to the rapidly growing national and GCC logistic, industrial
and commercial areas.
